WSA weekly round-up with the PR team

New account wins

The PR department is delighted to have kicked-off a new ongoing campaign for a major new client. CIVEA is the principal trade association representing civil enforcement agencies in England and Wales and represents over 90% of the entire enforcement industry. The team has hit the ground running with materials such as blog articles and press releases already in the pipeline. This fantastic news has also been shared amongst the digital team, who will be supporting with social media management.

Collaborative working

An integrated approach continues to provide further opportunities for internal departments to work collaboratively, such as the Advertising team, who are currently working in conjunction with PR to provide an annual campaign for a key education sector client.

Client coverage

Elsewhere, a 4-page feature in a leading healthcare industry publication has been secured for a major client in the care sector. This detailed interview will also be featured on the front page of the title.  A further series of articles for another top publication within healthcare has been discussed and positive movements are being made to seeing this realised. These activities have come off the back of a UK lockdown campaign which obtained coverage in the likes of the Daily Mail and on BBC Breakfast; the latter equating to nearly 7 minutes of positive national television coverage.

The coverage the PR department is securing is going from strength to strength in the vast majority of cases. Levels of growth for one client have not only doubled but tripled in value over the past month. The expectation is this will continue to increase as we go into a traditionally busy period for the agency. There are no signs of momentum slowing down this year and healthy pipelines of original content are ready to be actioned in the weeks ahead. Watch this space!
