Agency strengthened with MD and CEO moves

It is with great pleasure that we can announce the appointment of a new Managing Director at WSA – Jerry Taylor.

Jerry has been appointed to oversee the running of the agency, bringing knowledge, energy and experience gained from a successful career including roles as Commercial Director at TES Global and Head of Media at Euro RSCG Riley.

Already familiar with many of the staff at WSA, the agency values and a number of its core services and sectors, we are delighted to welcome Jerry aboard. He commented:

“I have had the pleasure of watching WSA flourish from afar under the careful guidance of Jane and her Senior Leadership Team. I am hugely excited to not only be stepping back into the agency world but to do so in an organisation that is obviously going places. The team at WSA are immensely talented and conscientious and I have no doubt that together we will continue the great work that Jane and the team rightly take great pride in.

Personally speaking I find that when something feels right it invariably is, every time I visited the office in Bletchley I witnessed an exceptional organisation going about its day confidently and professionally. These traits I intend to harness, develop and ensure that with my guidance and support the team can continue to flourish.

My intentions are to bring my experience to the fore and help WSA take the next steps in their evolution as a significant force in the advertising, creative, digital, PR and marketing world. I will get out and about as soon as possible to get to know all our clients and media partners in time, however, if you wish some of my time sooner rather than later please get in contact as soon as possible.”

In line with the new appointment, current MD Jane Hayward will move into a new role as CEO and had this to say:

“I am delighted to announce that WSA has appointed a new Managing Director, Jerry Taylor, who will be joining the company to take over from me. I will be moving to the role of CEO, overseeing the further development of the agency and continuing to work with the Directors to ensure we continue to grow and develop as we have done successfully for the last twelve years.

Jerry has enormous commercial experience in agency, media, sales and events and will bring a depth of knowledge that will help to take the agency to the next stage of its growth.

This is a very exciting change at WSA and the appointment of a new MD is perfectly timed to ensure we have fresh ideas, best working practice and new skills to share.

We are all looking forward to working with Jerry and I am confident that the business is passing into safe hands with a continued focus on client service, excellent creative work and unrivalled standards of customer care.”

The last 12 months has also seen WSA acquire specialist marketing and communications agency Tregartha Dinnie and achieve growth in key service areas, solidifying WSA’s position as a leading agency for the region, with extensive expertise in marketing, advertising, digital and communications.
