Brief

To support the internal communications programme and develop an external relations/outfacing media relations programme to include print and broadcast media.

Response

The agency established key positioning messages for target audiences and implemented a rolling PR programme to include national and trade education media, regional TV, radio, consumer/ lifestyle press and vertical sector media.

Result

Extensive coverage was achieved across print, digital and broadcast media. All aspects of the college’s curriculum were covered, as well as staff and student achievements, new facilities and thought leadership articles bi-lined by the Principal of the college. Successes included a four-page feature on the college’s new Foster Centre in a leading construction sector magazine and BBC TV covering an event held at the college’s Cannock Campus. Over a period of four years, the college saw enrolments increase and their profile rise both locally and nationally.
