Compass – Brand Development

Brief

To develop a name and brand for the new Compass mental health and wellbeing service delivered across Yorkshire schools. The service supports 5-18 year olds in North Yorkshire, but needed to engage stakeholders too.

Response

WSA coined the name for the service – Compass Buzz – and then developed a brand around this, from design concepts through to creation of a brand manual.

Following the development of the brand, WSA were tasked with creating designs and campaigns to be applied to collateral including a range of literature and merchandise to promote the service during their visits to schools which included leaflets, postcards, posters, banners (indoor/outdoor), lanyards and t-shirts. WSA provided the print management for all items from proof, to production, to delivery.

Result

The brand and designs have since been applied to their digital platforms including web and social pages.

The client has gone on to set up a confidential text messaging service – Buzz Us – which has further expanded on the overarching Buzz branding, and WSA have continued to produce the campaign designs and print management for the collateral.
